(Practise using the future and conjugating ‘going to’)

The future with ‘going to’ – cloze test (difficulty: 2 of 5 – rather easy)

Fill the gaps with the correct form of ‘to be going to’ of the verb in brackets to express the future. Do not use short forms for this. There are also some interrogative sentences, so pay attention to their word order. You will need the verb forms of the present continuous for the conjugation.

  • Example: “She ____________ her grandmother.” (visit) → “She is going to visit her grandmother.”
